Why worship together?
Although, in one sense, the entire Christian life is meant to be an act of worship, we believe that there is a special significance to our corporate times of worship. When we come together as a church family to praise God, we proclaim his glory and experience his presence among us. Our Sunday worship services are, therefore, a core part of the life of our church.
Where and when?
We meet for our worship service on every Sunday at 10:30am. Our church building is located at the corner of Dodgin Street and Hogg Street in Wynyard. Feel free to come in early to meet people and have a chat before the service begins. Barista-made coffee is available in the church foyer from about 10am. Enjoy a free coffee when you visit us for the first time!
What to expect
The style of worship is informal and relaxed, yet not without reverence for God's glory and holiness. Our worship services include times of congregational singing, prayer, reflection, and teaching from the Bible. Our songs of praise are led by our worship band and chosen from a selection of contemporary worship songs. The overall duration of the service is about 70 to 90 minutes.
Children
You are most welcome to bring your children with you when you join us for worship. Each Sunday service includes a brief kids spot where we share a Bible story or a thought with the children who are present. If your child needs a time-out, feel free to move over to our play room and follow the service via livestream. Also, make sure to check out our Sunday School programme which runs prior to the start of the service from 9:30am.
